A Home For G-d What does it mean to make our world a home for G-d? A basic tenet of our faith is that "the entire world is filled with His presence" and "there is no place void of Him." So it's not that we have to bring G-d into the material world -- He is already there. But G-d can be in the world without being at home in it. Being "at home" means being in a place that is receptive to your presence, a place devoted to serving your needs and desires. It means being in a place where you are your true, private self, as opposed to the public self you assume in other environments.

Congregation Beth Shalom
6116 South Pennsylvania
Centennial, CO 80121
Rabbi is Rabbi Jeffrey Kaye

Congregation Beth Shalom (CBS), the southern-most synagogue in the metro area, serves the religious, education, social, and community needs of the growing Jewish population in the southern Denver metro area suburbs.

CBS was founded and built in 1963. In 2004, growth prompted the purchase of a new facility, our current address.

Congregation Beth Shalom is a warm and inviting synagogue embracing Jews from a diverse range of religious philosophy and practice. In delivering on our commitment to provide a broad range of programming to serve our members and the Jewish community, CBS operates a well-respected religious and Hebrew school for grades K-8, an active Sisterhood, a stimulating social club, incisive adult discussion groups, B'nai Mitzvah and Shabbat and holiday services.

Our new 21,500 square foot facility sits on three acres. This includes abundant paved parking, a modern fenced playground, an adjoining house, and additional land. The Sanctuary seats over 350 and the social hall seats 200 and has a double service kitchen. The attached school wing contains 17 classrooms, assorted offices, a café, and a library.
